BioSA is collaborating with the Student’s Supporting the UHN to present to you a “Volunteering at UHN” event that will help you gain clinical exposure. The UHN represents 4 hospitals in the downtown core – Toronto Western, Toronto General, Toronto Rehab, and Princess Margaret. Between these 4 hospitals there are a variety of areas in which volunteers are recruited such as: medical imaging, GI, neurology, oncology, cardiac care, transplant, hospital elder life program, and much more!
Two staff members from the UHN will be present, and will explain the various programs that UHN offers and how to exactly get involved! There will also be Q/A session with the staff members! Furthermore, a representative from the Multi-Organ Transplant Student Research Training Program at UHN will also be present! This is an event you do not want to miss! Come on out on Thursday, March 15 from 4-6PM in Room AC227 to learn how to gain experience that will be highly valuable for your future endeavors!
